Mission Statement

It is the purpose of the Benjamin Logan Local Schools to provide educational opportunities for all youngsters regardless of race, color or creed; to include in the curriculum, courses geared to today's economic and social demands on young people; and to give basic training for all students - whether their intent is furthering their education or taking an immediate place in the community.

About This Cause

The Benjamin Logan High School Robotics Club is an after-school program for students who have expressed interest in STEM careers and robotics. This club helps students develop critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. As a student-driven club, we allow students the opportunity to become leaders of their school and community. Participants are responsible for conducting research, reaching out to other teams and local communities, all robot building and programming, and raising funds. These skills are instrumental for our students’ futures, as the number of available positions in STEM-related careers are increasing each year globally. The Robotics club competes in multiple tournaments each year through First Tech Challenge and the National Robotics Challenge in Marion, Ohio. Throughout the last few years we have won multiple awards for FTC, such as the Connect Award and the Motivate Award. Our NRC teams have also done very well in events like Combat Robot, Hockey Bot, and Additive Manufacturing.
