We are committed to developing character, advancing human understanding, and promoting academic excellence to shape engaged citizens who live with integrity, empathy, and purpose.
About This Cause
St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School has been providing an exceptional education to girls and boys from the greater Washington, DC area since 1956. Today, the school prides itself on nurturing and challenging a diverse student body of nearly 500 children in Nursery to Grade 8, teaching them to follow St. Patrick's creed of "honesty, responsibility, kindness, and respect" as they grow as citizens, scholars, and leaders during these formative years. The school is highly committed to keeping the St. Patrick's experience within reach of as many students and families as possible and has dedicated 16.3% of gross tuition revenues to a 2019-2020 financial aid budget that has grown 33.2% over the past five years and currently serves nearly 25% of the student body. St. Patrick's actively seeks outside support for their Financial Aid Program in addition to committing a significant portion of their operating budget to meet this demonstrated financial need and to promote socioeconomic diversity within the school community.
