St. Therese Catholic Academy is a diverse, welcoming community that seeks to ignite the faith, minds, and dreams of our students and to prepare them to excel spiritually, academically, and socially in high school, college, and beyond.
About This Cause
STCA is a diverse, welcoming community serving Preschool (age 3) through 8th Grade students located in the Madrona neighborhood of Seattle. In our 95th school year, we are known for our racial, cultural, and economic diversity, excellent academic programs (including 1:1 Chromebooks, blended learning programming, and service-learning), openness to families from all walks of life, and our faith-filled and family-based school culture. Embracing diversity is a cornerstone of our mission. Our students and staff represent a variety of cultures, faith traditions, and family backgrounds. Of our current 195 students: + 89% identify as children of color + 56% are non-Catholic + 60% receive tuition assistance + 33% qualify for free/reduced lunches + Commute from 44+ zip codes in the greater Seattle area Our Root beliefs are: 1.
