Chabad of East Lakeview is dedicated to providing every Jew regardless of background, philosophy or level of commitment, an open door environment for strengthening and enhancing Jewish family life. Chabad serves individuals and families looking for an anchor and non-judgmental, accepting, personalized Jewish experience. Chabad is enthusiastic about offering meaningful Jewish experience, education and renewal opportunities for all men, women and children. Chabad offers "Judaism with a Smile," and a home away from home for everyone who walks through its doors.
About This Cause
Chabad East Lakeview provides every Jew--regardless of background, affiliation, philosophy, or level of commitment--an open-door environment for strengthening Jewish life. Chabad serves all individuals & families looking for an anchor & a personalized Jewish experience with joy & without judgment. Our mission is to build & nourish Jewish community ties & to ensure Jewish continuity. Chabad has had a presence in the area for over 20 years with programs taking place in temporary rented & donated spaces. In 2015 Rabbi & Mrs. Kotlarsky established a permanent home for Chabad in the area, & in 2020 we purchased our new property to serve as the Chabad East Lakeview Community Campus. The property sq. footage--once renovated—will alleviate space constrictions & fulfill community demand for our extensive programs including prayer services, Shabbat dinners, Judaic classes, Jewish Women’s Circle, Hebrew School, children’s day camps, plus a Jewish preschool to open its doors in 2023.
