tand with the most vulnerable in our communities. Across the UK, 14 million people struggle with poverty, and the current cost-of-living crisis is deepening the hardship. A distressing number of individuals are living with food poverty, with recent data showing that about 8.4 million struggle to put enough food on the table. Tragically, UN data from February 2025 indicates that 4.5% of the population have experienced the hardship of going an entire day without food because they couldn't afford it. Our outreach focuses on the most vulnerable, providing a lifeline to homeless individuals, rough sleepers, and impoverished families in London. We prioritize those on the streets while also supporting others facing less visible struggles.Your contribution as a volunteer will directly impact lives by:
Helping to prepare nourishing meal packs and essential survival items, including clothing and toiletries.
Joining our walking outreach teams to distribute these vital supplies in key Central London locations (e.g., Leicester Square, Waterloo, Victoria).
Offering a crucial signposting service, connecting individuals with pathways to further support.
Whether you are an individual or part of a group, we have year-round opportunities for you to get involved.
Time: Flexible morning, afternoon or evening sessions available
Days: Monday to Saturday weekly
Be a beacon of hope for those who need it most!

Hey all you Hope Heroes!! It’s time to get together again to pack meals for the hungry, specifically to feed the those in greatest need served by Feed the Hungry (Impact — Feed The Hungry). Are you in?!? Let’s do this!!We’ll be packing meals on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at Three Rivers Wesleyan Church located at 2825 Hillegas Rd.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for the check-in process.
While there is no cost to attend, donations are welcome. We recommend a $10 donation.
Or…think about donating the cost of just one carton of meals. That carton you will pack feeds 216 children and costs just $70. That’s a mere $.32 per meal! What can we do without once or twice that will equal 216 meals? Feel free to donate as many boxes as you’d like to feed those who have so little.
We are looking forward to seeing you and partnering with you to feed the hungry!

Brought to you by CareNet and The Social Education Group.Looking for a meaningful way to engage your team without leaving the office? We bring the impact to you.
In partnership with CareNet, The Social Education Group offers an in-office volunteering experience designed to educate, inspire, and mobilise your team—all from the comfort of your workplace.
How It Works
We start with a short, engaging workshop that unpacks the issue of food insecurity in Australia—what it looks like, why it’s growing, and how we can all be part of the solution. This team-building session helps staff connect not just with each other, but with a bigger purpose.
After that, your team will get hands-on, working together to pack vital hampers and care kits that will be distributed directly to individuals and families doing it tough through CareNet’s food relief network.
What You Might Pack
Depending on current needs, your team could be packing:
• Lunchboxes for schools – supporting students who are regularly arriving without food
• Care packs for people experiencing homelessness – including essentials like socks, snacks, and hygiene items
• Hygiene kits for women fleeing family violence – with thoughtful items for those staying in emergency accommodation
• Or bespoke pack requested by a charity partner. These packs are heavily informed by the frontline.
Why It Matters
These aren’t symbolic gestures—these are real resources that go straight to people who need them. Every pack makes a genuine difference in someone’s day, and your team will know they’ve been part of something worthwhile.
Perfect For:
• Corporate teams who want to give back but can’t get off-site
• Groups looking for a meaningful team-building activity
• Organisations looking to embed purpose into their workplace culture
• Break-out sessions during a conference or other event.
