Join us for an unforgettable day where every step makes a difference. The MS Run & Rock Fest features two running challenges, a kid fun run, rockin’ music and family-friendly fun for all. Let’s rock and rally for those living with MS!
As a volunteer, we could not do this without your help! Volunteers will be stationed at a variety of locations through the 1-mile event loop and along the 16-mile self-supported run. Volunteers will be provided with a table, chairs, shade and all the supplies needed to support the runner's they'll be caring for. Volunteers can expect to do thing like: share event information, bathroom locations, give out water, bananas, cheer, and point participants to a staff member if a question or need is more in-depth.

Through local and global forums, individuals share ideas and experiences, identify challenges, and advocate for change--all of which guide IDEA's vision.
IDEA defines its four areas of expertise as: advocacy, empowerment, leadership, and heritage and education. Programs vary from country to country, depending on the locally identified needs and expertise of leaders within a country. IDEA is an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
Our mission is to engage a network across the world, of persons who have experienced a neglected tropical disease and their family members, to empower each other, to ensure human rights and to promote inclusion. We envision a world where the inherent dignity of all human beings is respected.
IDEA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Volunteer Webmaster to help us maintain and update our website on a regular basis. This role is ideal for someone with basic web skills who wants to contribute to a global human rights organization dedicated to empowering people affected by leprosy (Hansen’s disease) and other Neglected Tropical Diseases and promoting dignity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update website content (text, images, PDFs) as needed
• Ensure links, pages, and forms are functioning properly
• Maintain a clean, organized site structure and navigation
• Coordinate with IDEA staff to keep content timely and relevant
• Monitor for basic security and functionality issues
• Transition current site to new URL and create new site with tools available from GoDaddy, Wix or similar
• Train IDEA staff to post news items, announcements, and event updates
Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge of website platforms such as Wix, GoDaddy, WordPress or similar
• Attention to detail and commitment to keeping the site up to date
• Good communication skills and ability to work remotely
• A passion for social justice and IDEA’s mission is a plus
Time Commitment: Approximately 4–8 hours per month, with flexible scheduling
This is a volunteer, remote position. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who want to use their technical skills to support human rights and global inclusion.

Join Autism Family Friends (AFF), a BC-based nonprofit supporting families raising young autistic children, at our 1st Anniversary Fundraiser on Saturday, September 21, 2025. This family-focused, sensory-friendly event brings our community together to celebrate inclusion, connection, and growth.Volunteers will assist with:
1. Event setup and takedown
2. Greeting and guiding families
3. Supporting sensory-friendly play zones
4. Raffle and silent auction stations
5. Registration and check-in
6. Child engagement (with caregiver supervision)
7. Cleanup and closing duties
A mandatory volunteer training session will be held on a separate day prior to the event, and will last approximately 1 hour to ensure all volunteers feel confident and prepared.
Volunteer Requirements:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older
2. Friendly and welcoming demeanor
3. Comfortable in family- and child-centered environments
4. Organized and reliable (especially for registration, raffle, and silent auction support)
5. Experience with children or neurodivergent individuals is a plus, but not required

PAWS Pet Therapy trains, places, and supports volunteer pet therapy teams—people and their own dogs—to deliver a professional pet-assisted therapy service across health, education, and community settings throughout Australia.Founded in 2012 and operating as a registered charity, PAWS has trained over 500 teams to provide meaningful, therapeutic visits to people from all walks of life. Our dogs come in all shapes, sizes, breeds, and personalities—but they share the same loving nature and intuitive ability to bring comfort and connection. Their welfare is central to the PAWS program, ensuring they remain happy, engaged, and enthusiastic about their work—benefiting not only the dogs, but the people they visit.
All PAWS teams complete a comprehensive training program, covering both theory and practical components, equipping them with the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to deliver a safe and professional service. Training and assessment are delivered face-to-face where possible, or via video modules and Zoom sessions for regional and remote applicants.
Our goal for PAWS Pet Therapy is to maintain a pool of knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, and well supported volunteers to meet the ever increasing demand for our service, and to ensure our service is accessible to anyone who needs it, regardless of age, geographical location or circumstances.

The Pikes Peak Challenge is our flagship fundraising event. Each year over 400 people hike, walk, or roll to raise money for essentail brain injury programs and services. Pikes Peak Challenge aims to inspire every participant and challenge every ability level with four great events.It takes over 100 volutneers to make the event happen each year.
