Participants are welcome to run, walk or stroll their way to the finish line. Women play an essential role in creating stability, driving progress, and achieving long-term development goals. Investing in them is key to accelerating sustainable development. That's why Mercy Corps works to position women at the forefront of climate resilience efforts and become recognised as central to their community's wellbeing. In the places where we work, we provide women and girls with business training, help expand access to education, and work with local partners to foster inclusive decision-making.

This one-hour session invites employees to explore the link between gender, climate change, and community resilience. They will also take part in an interactive activity through real life decision-making scenarios, focused on the challenges faced by women in Nepal. By the end of the session, participants will:

- Understand how and why Mercy Corps works within the unique intersection of women and climate change.
- Learn how Mercy Corps is helping empower women around the globe to build climate resilience in their communities.
- Feel inspired to support our efforts to break down the barriers women and girls face around the world.
