The 2022 March for Marrow California will celebrate 13 years of advocacy this year by staging its first IN-PERSON March for Marrow LA since 2019. The 13th Annual March for Marrow 5K Run and Patient & Family Walk is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Shoreline Village in Long Beach California.March for Marrow California persevered through COVID-19 with VIRTUAL events. Last year we even went STATEWIDE, running and walking from southern to northern California. We are going to continue that option, because California is a huge state, with many rural areas where doctors have never seen a bone marrow failure patient – and we need to educate them for that first case.
To satisfy our statewide reach in 2021, we produced a video event recognizing many of our wonderful sponsors, doctors, patients, family members and partners in California. This year it is back to basics with a 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk for individuals or teams; our Champion TBA; lots of comradery; and our popular Silent Auction with some wonderful gifts from our generous committee members up and down the state.

We are seeking a volunteer to assist our organization in setting up five zaps in Zapier that will automate everyday tasks, including (1) adding donors from Givebutter to QBO and Hubspot and (2) splitting an amount into multiple line items GB -> QBO.Zaps are a powerful way to automate everyday administrative tasks. Doing so will free our team members to focus on higher-level, generative work that increases our organization's capacity to help other nonprofits in need. Additionally, well-running zaps will lower our administrative costs allowing us to reinvest donor dollars into supporting the nonprofit sector.
We have an active Zapier account connected to our Givebutter, Hubspot, and Quickbooks accounts. Our ED is also well versed in Zapier to assist will set up as needed. Once complete, our team will monitor weekly zaps and troubleshoot issues with Zapier support as required.
