JA in a Day presents an enjoyable and unique approach to JA programming. These interactive sessions are conducted in a single day, typically lasting around 3 to 3.5 hours. Usually, two volunteers collaborate in each classroom to present the program while the teacher is there to offer assistance. This is a fantastic chance for team building, allowing you to partner with a colleague, friend, or family member.
JA provides all the essential training, materials, and a detailed volunteer guide to ensure a seamless experience. A JA staff member will meet with you to outline what to expect in the classroom, how to organize and prepare the materials, and review the guide together.
By volunteering with JA, you play a vital role in our mission to inspire and equip young people for success in a global economy. We strive to achieve this by cultivating skills in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career readiness.
Join us as a JA volunteer and make a meaningful difference in one of our local elementary schools!
