High quality early learning experiences lead to long-term school success. One of the goals of Campbell Park Network for Early Learning is to engage parents, caregivers and children (Birth to 5 years old) in meaningful learn and play opportunities.The Learn & Play Sessions are designed to support parents/caregivers to play and interact with children in developmentally appropriate ways to encourage brain development and assist school readiness. Sessions are held at United Way Suncoast's Campbell Park Resource Center in the rear of John Hopkins Middle School's campus in St. Petersburg. Volunteer activities may include: Assisting with the session set-up and break down, sanitizing materials and equipment, assisting families with sign-in procedures, capturing photos during the sessions, helping to redirect children and families during the sessions, helping to facilitate the flow of the sessions, managing music and supporting activities, participating in a briefing before and debriefing after sessions.
Volunteers will need to: Be at least 18 years of age, enjoy interaction with young children and families, have some child supervision or childcare experience (i.e. parents, nannies, preschool personnel), complete a pre-screening and successfully pass a Level 2 Background check (paid for by United Way Suncoast), be available once per week during the below session timeframes with a commitment of at least 6-months:
Mondays or Wednesdays from 4:30pm-7pm; or
Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9:30am-12pm.

The goal of IMPACT Texas Backpack to School Bash Rosenberg, TX is providing backpacks filled with school supplies to underserved students who reside in affordable housing communities (federal assistance) and attend Title 1 schools where 50% (or higher) of the students live below the federal government poverty level. Additionally, the students receive toiletries, snacks, fruit and water.The purpose of this program is to provide basic schools supplies to students to remove barriers to academic success.
IMPACT Texas Backpack to School Bash is extremely important for students and their families. Having basic school supplies has a positive IMPACT on a student’s self-esteem and creativity. IMPACT Texas is offering a "Hand Up" to the families by providing school supplies which allows many parents to purchase other necessities their child may need such as clothing, shoes, coats, food etc.
This Bash is an exciting and fun way for students to connect with friends and community members prior to the new school year. It's a community economic development program service full of free, fun festivities!

The Elmbrook Education Foundation is proud to host the 9th Annual EEF Golf Outing on Tuesday, June 13 at Ironwood Golf Course.This year, funds raised will support the Launch Initiative in our Elmbrook high schools. This request supports guest speakers, the learning space, equipment, technology, and supplies for student projects. Funding LAUNCH, a program that has grown from 70 students to nearly 500, will help create opportunities for students to expand their profession-based learning, and provide an incentive to make and create for our community.

We are now looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us run the club for our Year 3-5 primary school students. You don’t need experience of working with children to apply, but you will need to be:

The Galway Civic Trust will be hosting an event during Heritage Week in August 2023 inassociation with the National Women's Council of Ireland (NWCI). The event will focus on celebrating the contributions of women to Galway's heritage, history, and culture. The event will feature talks, presentations, and performances by notable female speakers and performers, as well as interactive activities for attendees.
