On October 11, 2025 Career Girls will hold a charity walk/run fundraising event at Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park from 7:30 am to noon.

100% of the money raised will fund needed supplies for our free Career Girls Club in-school programs in the Bay Area and across the country. We walk and run so girls can soar!

We need volunteers in these areas:

★ I can recruit walkers/runners by forming a team for my company/organization
★ I can solicit for event sponsors or my company is interested in being an event sponsor
★ I can do advance promotion to encourage awareness
★ I can participate on event day with event set-up, check-in, and clean-up

Join us in reaching our goal by lending a hand. With your support, we will continue to expand this free, all-inclusive program, including lesson plans, activities, and supplies. Career Girls Clubs inspire students to achieve greatness, gaining a broader understanding of career possibilities as they develop soft skills and learn the steps required for success.

Atypify is a grassroots, neurodiverse-led organisation supporting underrepresented young people—particularly neurodivergent girls and nonbinary youth—to thrive through inclusive tech, creative learning, and wellbeing support.

Despite the impact of our work, we often struggle to gain visibility in traditional media. As a small team outside the mainstream, we need help getting our message heard.

The goal of this volunteer opportunity is to raise awareness of Atypify’s mission and impact through earned media—connecting us with the right journalists, outlets, and opportunities to help amplify the voices of young people who are too often overlooked.

This role is vital because visibility equals access: to funders, partners, schools, and the young people who need us most. With your support, we can grow our reach, build credibility, and ensure our story—and theirs—is finally seen and heard.

Join us in honoring a trailblazing legacy at the 56th Annual Ted Rhodes Charity Golf Classic—a premier event that celebrates the life and impact of Ted Rhodes, a golf pioneer and civil rights champion. This annual fundraiser supports the Ted Rhodes Foundation’s mission to introduce underrepresented youth to the game of golf while promoting leadership, character development, career readiness, and access to lifelong opportunities.

Volunteers play a critical role in helping this historic event run smoothly. Whether you're assisting with registration, supporting golfers on the course, or providing hospitality services, your time and energy will directly support youth programming, scholarships, and community outreach initiatives.

Why It Matters:
Your support helps preserve the legacy of the first African American professional golfer, while also paving the way for the next generation of young leaders. This event is more than a golf tournament—it’s a celebration of equity, empowerment, and education through the game of golf.

Be part of something meaningful. Volunteer with us and make an impact that drives change both on and off the green.
