The water podcast is not only a space for inspiration but also a resource for networking and professional development. With this podcast, we aim to bridge the gap between gender equality and scientific progress, ensuring that the contributions of women are recognized and celebrated. From tackling water scarcity at the America and Mexico Border to improving water quality, these women are at the forefront of finding sustainable solutions for binational water issues.

On October 11, 2025 Career Girls will hold a charity walk/run fundraising event at Peacock Meadow in Golden Gate Park from 7:30 am to noon.

100% of the money raised will fund needed supplies for our free Career Girls Club in-school programs in the Bay Area and across the country. We walk and run so girls can soar!

We need volunteers in these areas:

★ I can recruit walkers/runners by forming a team for my company/organization
★ I can solicit for event sponsors or my company is interested in being an event sponsor
★ I can do advance promotion to encourage awareness
★ I can participate on event day with event set-up, check-in, and clean-up

Join us in reaching our goal by lending a hand. With your support, we will continue to expand this free, all-inclusive program, including lesson plans, activities, and supplies. Career Girls Clubs inspire students to achieve greatness, gaining a broader understanding of career possibilities as they develop soft skills and learn the steps required for success.

Available Volunteer Ambassador Opportunities:

Event Set-Up Crew: Assist with setting up signage, registration tables, and refreshment stations.

Registration Assistants: Friendly and organized individuals to check in participants, distribute welcome packets, and provide event information.

Greeters and Ushers: Outgoing volunteers to welcome guests, guide them to various locations, answer questions, and assist with seating arrangements.

Online Social Media Ambassadors: Help spread awareness by posting weekly content provided by us on social media platforms.

Administrative Volunteer Support: Assist with managing refreshment carts and providing snacks and drinks to attendees.

Clean-Up Crew: Help with post-event breakdown and cleanup to ensure the venue is left in excellent condition.
