The Lupus Foundation of Northern California and the Lupus Foundation of Southern California will be merging as of July 1st to become the California Lupus Foundation—a united organization serving all lupus patients across our vast and diverse state.
This is both exciting and daunting. The need is great. The stories we hear from patients—from San Diego to Redding—are filled with resilience, but also with fear, pain, and isolation. They need education, support, advocacy, and care. And we are committed to being there for them.
We will continue to offer our programs and services which include:
Free online health conferences that connect patients with experts and hope
Peer support groups statewide
Training for volunteer leaders and advocates
Outreach to underserved communities who too often face lupus alone.

As 2 small non-profits, neither of us has a graphic designer and we want our new logo to be professional looking and engaging to our community. If you are a graphic designer who designs logos we would love to hear from you! Put your talent to good use and help us launch our new Foundation!

We are looking for a pro bono design work one CEELI's upcoming publication for judicial actors on alternatives to judicial vetting. This new resource will be the product of the Central and Eastern European (CEE) Judicial Network, a trusted platform gathering over 370 judges across the region, which the CEELI Institute has been proud to moderate since 2012.

We hope it will assist policymakers, judges, practitioners, journalists, and civil society actors alike for years to come, both in the region and globally. In an era when judicial integrity has been called into question through allegations of corruption, these guidelines will aim to strike a thoughtful balance on how to restore the public’s trust, which is more critical than ever.

The publication will be ready towards the end of April and will be about 80-pages long. We would like to design it by the end of May.

About the CEELI Institute

The mission of the CEELI Institute is to advance the rule of law in the world in order to protect fundamental rights and individual liberties; promote transparent, incorruptible, accountable institutions; lay the foundation for economic opportunity and growth; and encourage peaceful resolution of disputes.

In practice, we reach exceptional individuals through professional training and networks of expertise so that they have the tools and professional support to advance the rule of law at home. The publication we are working on is one of such tools.
