You would be helping us grow our non-profit and assist us with our mission.We are seeking goal driven individuals who have a passion for suicide awareness and prevention who want to partner with us in our purpose and mission. We need a development assistant who is fluent in English and has an intermediate or advanced level of Spanish to communicate with the office staff and local donors. And who also has good communication skills. From concept through execution, this candidate will improve our user experience by bringing our brand and graphics to life and keeping it consistent across all our various touchpoints.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with marketing and product marketing teammates to support our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more).
Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.
Scope and create templates for our marketing team to be more efficient in some of their posting on social media, the blog, email, and other channels.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s required, Graphic Design background preferred.
2 years experience in graphic design with non-profits organizations preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to create various designs from scratch. (Samples needed)
Fluent in spoken and written English with the ability to communicate clearly and consistently.
Reliable internet connection is a high requirement in a virtual setting as a non-paid volunteer.
Minimum volunteer hours expected: 7-10 hrs per week
Proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Publisher and other graphic design software, Google Apps such as Drive, Sheets, etc.
Familiarity with or quick adoption of Trello and Slack tools are critical.
Professional Demeanor as a virtual non-paid volunteer at all times.
