Helping Hands Hawaii’s mission is to provide critical social services to improve people’s quality of life and empower them on their path to a better tomorrow. Our vision is a thriving, resilient and self-sufficient community connected for generations through acts of aloha.
About This Cause
Incorporated in 1974, Helping Hands Hawai`i (HHH) is a leader of the community, solving immediate financial needs, overcoming language barriers, increasing food security, and helping to keep Hawaii’s families housed. The unique combination of diverse program services offers an easy one-stop shop of resources for individuals with a wide range of needs and creates opportunities for independence and resiliency. Community Clearinghouse, SNAP Outreach, Bilingual Access Line, and Representative Payee Services strengthen our community, one family at a time, by improving people’s quality of life and empowering them on their path to a brighter and sustainable future. In 2025, HHH will secure and digitize more processes to offer flexibility, scalability, and volume to our services to address existing and future needs of underserved children, adults, seniors, and their families. Through the strength of our team combined with impactful collaborations with supporters, we can make a wide and deep impact on the lives of Hawaii’s most vulnerable people. Through partnerships, we will help families facing the most challenging times in their lives and give them the care and support they need to become empowered and overcome their obstacles.
