Mission Statement

The Children's Advocacy Center of East Central IL (CACECI) is a not for profit agency that provides a child-friendly environment for forensic interviews of children involved in child abuse investigations. CACECI facilities serve as a central location for providing the many services needed by child victims of sexual and/or severe physical abuse and to caregivers. Our mission is to minimize the trauma experienced by child victims and their caregivers as they move through our judicial system, to provide referral and advocacy services to the victims and their family/caregivers, and to promote prosecution of those responsible of such abuse through advocacy and case coordination with all involved agencies.

About This Cause

Working as a team to make a difference in the lives of sexually and physically abused children. We serve children in Clark, Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Moultrie, & Shelby Counties.
