Mission Statement
Days for Girls turns periods into pathways. Days for Girls is an NGO that works to increase access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women, girls, and all people who menstruate. Together, we're creating a world with dignity, health, and opportunity for all.
About This Cause
Over 500 million people around the world don't have the resources they need to manage their periods with dignity — creating barriers to health, education, gender equity, and opportunity. At Days for Girls, we support women and girls throughout the entire menstrual life cycle. We create period-positive school environments, promote menstrual-friendly workplaces, and provide postpartum care resources to support new mothers. And in times of crisis, we respond — ensuring menstrual health is not overlooked in humanitarian and emergency settings. We advance menstrual equity by: - Increasing access to sustainable menstrual products - Promoting menstrual health education that builds body literacy and confidence - Fostering supportive environments — at home, in schools, workplaces, and across public systems When menstrual health is prioritized, women and girls can stay in school, engage in their communities, and reach their full potential.
