Our mission is to build hope, transform lives, and share Christ's love through service in Appalachia.

About This Cause

For over 60 years, CAP has been serving the impoverished communities of Appalachia. With hundreds of volunteers and a dedicated staff, we are able to help our participants through our robust programs that focus areas of basic human needs. We provide assistance in home repair, food insecurity, elderly services, disaster relief, youth empowerment programs, emergency services, gifts in kind, and other basic needs. Our goal is to provide hope to our participants in times of despair.
