HBIC HQ (Head Boss in Charge) is a nonprofit for women dedicated to see more Women Owned Businesses drive our future. Our charitable programs support women-identified persons who are survivors of domestic abuse or homelessness, former foster youth, or have faced other adversities. We are looking for a dynamic Social Media & Marketing Manager volunteer to help us achieve our mission by creating social media content, scheduling posts, and designing campaigns to maximize our outreach so we can help as many individuals as possible.

Position Objective:
This role will direct the marketing schedule for event promotions, social media postings, and press releases to drive community engagement and allow each opportunity ample time for growth and development. Additionally, this role will work with the Executive Director and Board of Directors on multiple projects across the organization.

Position Description:
• Create, implement, and manage the Social Media Content Calendar for each event across all channels of the organization’s social media.
• Create and execute an actionable plan to continuously engage the community in our organization’s event schedules.
• Working in partnership with the board of Directors, delegate supporting tasks to members to ensure the workload is manageable.
• Advise Board Members on new or trending social media outlets to create a broader audience and engage potential sponsors.
• Create social media content for posting and distribution according to the growth and needs of each event on cue.
• Develop press releases for each event with a distribution schedule, directing the committee members to prioritize release channels.

Position Requirements:
• 2-3 years social media and marketing experience, preferably for a non-profit
• Experience executing a growth-driven strategy on social media platforms
• A strong understanding of social metrics
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Proficient with social media and press release scheduling

BUSINESS FLYERS
We need a flyer made for a new program we are adding. We will supply the basic content and you can create the project. We need the flyer to be eye catching and appealing as the topic is about grief support.
We would like a turnaround time of 21 days from the time we give you the information as we really need to start getting participants. We prefer a WORD or PUBLISHER is format. We know there are other formats which may be better; however, we need a format that we can use to make changes once your time with us is completed.
We need one flyer to solicit participants and another one to apprise local Funeral Directors of our program.
We are looking for a creative fast learner who needs very little guidance.
BUSINESS CARDS
While we like generic business cards for our board members which will be standard, we would like to have individual business card for those who provide services; a subspecialty. For instance, we have those who provide counseling, Music therapy and those who work with special populations/special education. We would like their business cards to reflect that.
Our company information would be on the back of the card. On the front of the card, would be their picture and their name written in a fancy cursive- like style and list their specialty in regular type on the bottom; one or two words. The card would be in vibrant colors of pink and purple.

WEConnect International will be hosting the Financing Your Growing Business Boot Camp for women business owners on June 22, 23, 29 and 30 in partnership with Moody's.

We are looking for volunteers to support this training which helps to provide education and industry expertise on creditworthiness and how to position their business for capital input and growth.

As a volunteer, you can assist with either running the logistics of the Boot Camp and/or presenting a specific training session. On-boarding and training will be provided to all volunteers and presenters and note this training will be run in Spanish.

• General Volunteer: These volunteers will support the overall delivery of the Boot Camp, working with WEConnect International to moderate breakout sessions, monitor and respond to attendee chat questions, or assist the presenters. Volunteers should be familiar with Zoom, able to answer general questions about creditworthiness in support of subject matter experts and have experience in virtual facilitation/moderation and a basic knowledge of Mexico and/or Cost Rica.

• Presenter: These volunteers will act as subject matter experts and deliver a training session on a specific topic – credit, financial statements, goal planning, sources of financing, capital planning, how to pitch or enterprise valuation. The presenter will be provided a pre-designed curriculum in PowerPoint and have the opportunity to suggest enhancements if needed. These volunteers should have experience presenting these topics to adult learners and an understanding of how these topics are or can be applied in Mexico and/or Costa Rica.

Vous recevrez une demi-journée de formation début octobre et une autre formation courant octobre.
