Covid-19 has knocked us all off the tightwire and even the world-famous Cape Town Cycle Tour is having to reinvent their original format and go virtual. The good news is that you can now cycle for Zip Zap from anywhere in the world, and you have a whole month to cover the gruelling 109 km’s.

Join our Cycle Tour Warriors and keep our doors open

With the Cape Town Cycle Tour going virtual this year, we have decided to jump right back onto our bicycles and mobilise our Cycle Warriors around the world, to generate some much-needed funds.
Join the 109-for-109 Charity Challenge – raise R109 per kilometre you ride for Zip Zap on your BackaBuddy / GivenGain page. If you would like to receive a virtual medal upon completion of the race, you will need to register on the Cape Town Cycle Tour website, click here Entry is ZAR109.

Raise and ride for a great cause
Every cent counts for us! So, please jump on board our Zip Zap Cycle Warriors global-cycle and help us reach our target of R 100,000. The event has changed to suit the virtual challenge, and now you have between 1 – 31 March 2021 to complete your 109km from anywhere in the world – that’s only 3.63km per day, for those that still need to dust off their tyres and oil their brakes!

Your sweat equity will be rewarded
As a Zip Zap Cycle Warrior, not only will you be investing into empowering kids for life, but we would love to reward you for every milestone you reach.

Cycle 54,5kms and receive a cool Zip Zap buff.

Cycle the full 109kms and receive a Zip Zap buff and exclusive access to view our Canal+ Family documentary Dare2Dream. You can kick back, put your weary feet up and enjoy front row seats, in the comfort of your own home, to view over a period of 48 hours! A great way to recover from 109km’s of balancing on 2 wheels in all weather conditions.

Where your money will go
Zip Zap Circus has been hard-hit by Covid19 with all live shows cancelled and our training programmes suspended. Our live shows account for 50% of our income to cover programme expenses and to ‘keep the show on the road.’ You will be contributing to keeping our doors open to 2000 talented children who cannot wait to join their circus family again and keep fit, healthy and happy.

Can we count on you?
Let us know if we can count on you to be a Zip Zap Cycle Warrior for 2021 by completing our quick online form here by Friday, 26th March 2021.

We will help you get your BackaBuddy / GivenGain fundraising page up and running so that you can focus on your training!
