FoodRight Packing Assistants make programming possible. Our small but mighty female led and run non-profit reaches thousands of Milwaukee students and families every year. Without volunteers to help us prepare for our hands-on, whole-food, plant-based cooking, gardening and nutrition education lessons, we wouldn't be able to carry out our mission to empower youth, families and communities to choose foods that sustain life-long health. YOU make all the difference to our students!
FoodRight Packing Assistants help organize and pack cooking supplies into bins for in-classroom programming, pack meal kits and incentive kits for virtual lessons, and help clean and organize supplies for storage over the summer months.

NewBeginnings is the only NGO working in some of the remotest villages in the Nandyal and Kurnool districts of Andhra Pradesh, India. The region is known for chronic droughts and poverty. This generational drought resulted in generational poverty.
We want to break this poverty chain and are committed to ensure a better future for the children. Your help and support will help a child to escape the abstract poverty. Your help can save girl children from becoming victims of child marriages. According to a recent survey, the prevalence of child marriage is nearly 30% in Andhra Pradesh. With the support of generous donors and volunteers, we are able to rescue and educate children from the target districts. The need is more, and we need your help.

We are running a fundraising campaign on Give Foundation Inc (Give India Foundation) to educate children, especially girl children from the most marginalized communities in Andhra Pradesh, India.
Child marriage is a complex reality. It is girl children becoming victims of generational poverty. This campaign is imperative to educate children, especially girls, otherwise, they would become victims of child marriages, child labor, and even human trafficking.

You can either promote the already existing campaign among your friends, families, colleagues, and on social media, or you create your fundraiser linked to this campaign and own it. This way, you become a team member and have your own fundraiser to make it successful.
This fundraising campaign will support NCT's Poor Children Education Projects, ensuring children, especially girl children from the poorest communities, complete quality primary and secondary schooling. Of the total sponsored children, 60% of the children are girls, and most of them are orphans. This fund support education of 120 orphan, semi-orphan, and the poorest of the poor children.

Over the last 31 years, CFES Brilliant Pathways has helped 100,000 underserved students attain college degrees and become ready for the workplace.

As a Colgate Cares Day mentor volunteer, you will be sharing your own pathway to higher education and the workplace with CFES Scholars from across the country with a concentration in New York State. As a mentor you will be helping CFES students discover and build college and career knowledge.

Colgate volunteers will work with students in grades 5-12 from 9am - 5pm ET. There will be twenty plus schools, and approximately forty 30-minute sessions. Volunteers will be in virtual panels of two or more, talking about their college and career pathways: what your major was, how you paid for college, who helped you along the way, the link between college and your current position at Colgate, what you currently do at Colgate, etc.

Session sizes will vary from 10 - 30 students. All sessions will be moderated by a CFES professional with time allotted for Q&A.

Volunteers will be provided with a guide that includes specific details on individual schools and communities, as well as leading questions for the panel discussions. Volunteers will also have access to a short, recorded onboarding webinar, along with a quick Zoom check-in the morning of September 29.
